IPTV Smarters is one of the best-known IPTV players. Many people know it from friends or from their provider. Here’s which Smarters app is the right one today, what it does well and what Finally does differently on your TV and phone.

Which Smarters is the right one?

If you search the Play Store for the old “IPTV Smarters Pro”, you won’t find it anymore: the old listing has disappeared. The current app is called “Smarters Pro” and comes from Tech Smarters. The developer’s website is smarterspro.com.

Apps and files with “Smarters” in their name are floating around online. Before installing, always check who publishes the app, and only download it from the store or the developer’s website.

What Smarters Pro does well

• Lots of devices: Android phone, Android TV, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Samsung TVs and a web player. There’s a beta for Windows and Mac.
• Xtream login, TV guide and catch-up are included.
• Free to try: the app is free, with in-app purchases.

If you watch on an Apple TV or a Samsung TV, Smarters Pro is a good choice there. Finally doesn’t run on those devices yet.

What Finally does differently

• Clean channel names and logos: many playlists have names like “UK| HD ★ Channel 1080p”. Finally gives every channel a clean name and a logo from our catalog and merges duplicate channels.
